White Cane Days

	Each October the Lions hold White Cane Days fundraisers. The event was established in 1964 to celebrate the achievements of people who are blind or visually impaired, and the important symbol of blindness and independence, the white cane. Benefits to this include meeting the community, spreading the word about Lions, and trying to find new members and sponsors.
	We haven't yet set dates for the fundraiser this year. Check back for updates. We do hope to conduct our fundraiser outside Wawa as we have done in years' past. Acme is another viable possibility.
